TERMS AND CONDITIONS
For the original retail purchaser (“Consumer”), FUSION BOARDS are warranted against material or manufacturing defects for a period of one (1) year against material or manufacturing defects from the date of purchase, for all parts of the board excluding the battery which has a 6 month warranty. If you have an extended warranty, this will be noted on your original order and will be stated in your manual. The maximum extended warranty is for 3 years (2 years in addition to the standard 1 year warranty) for all parts of the board excluding the battery which has a maximum 1 year warranty (6 months in addition to the standard 6 month warranty).
This limited warranty is only valid with the purchase of a FUSION BOARD from an authorised FUSION BOARD dealer. This warranty is non-transferable.
Please Note: The first extended warranties we offered started on 1st November 2017 and are only applicable to certain models. If you purchased your board prior to 1st November 2017 it is covered by our standard warranty (1 year against material or manufacturing defects from the date of purchase, for all parts of the board excluding the battery which has a 6 month warranty).
OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE
If you have a problem with your Fusion Board and you suspect that it may be due to defective materials or workmanship, please contact Fusion Board direct by raising a support request here and we will endeavor to ascertain the nature of the problem and discuss the best course of action.
Unless agreed by our service team prior to sending, the customer is responsible for all shipping and handling fees to and from the original dealer or the Fusion Board workshops which are in Cornwall UK.
Once the product has been inspected by our engineers to assess the nature of the problem, if it is determined that there is a manufacturing fault, and all conditions of the warranty have been adhered to, we will repair or replace the product (only if we are unable to repair) and return to the consumer by registered post. If we are unable to repair or replace with a comparable alternative, we will instruct the original dealer to issue a full refund.
LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
This limited warranty does not apply to:
- Normal wear and tear and aging of product.
- Boards damaged by extreme weather or environmental conditions.
- Boards damaged while in possession of a freight carrier, a dealer, consumer, or any party other than Fusion Board.
- Boards damaged by accident, neglect, improper use or handling, including water damage.
- Boards sold as “demos”, “2nds”or in “as is” condition.
- Boards determined to have been used for any activity other than an activity, which is customary for the product.
- Boards that have been structurally or dimensionally altered or modified.
- Boards used for commercial or rental purposes.
After market attachments and accessories: In addition to the above exclusions, we don’t warrant any Fusion Board while in use with or which has been used with a cart, buggy or similar attachment. Although balance board cart’s are usually generic and will often fit Fusion Boards, we don’t currently sell cart’s specifically because we have found that they can cause unpredictable results while in use and in some circumstances can cause damage to the board itself, particularly the pads and sensitive sensors under the pads.
This limited warranty excludes all other warranties, expressed or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, with regard to Fusion Boards. Some state, country, or provincial laws do not allow the exclusion of certain implied warranties, so the above exclusion may not apply to you.
This limited warranty excludes any incidental or consequential damages or expenses resulting from any defects. Fusion Board’s aggregate liability shall be limited to an amount equal to Consumer’s original purchase price paid for the defective product. Some state, country, or provincial laws do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you.
To the extent any limitation or exclusion contained herein is contrary to any country, state, or provincial law, such limitation or exclusion shall be severable and all other terms herein shall remain in full force and effect and are valid and enforceable. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights. For Consumers who are covered by state, country or provincial consumer protection laws or regulations, the benefits from this warranty are in addition to all rights conveyed by such consumer protection laws.
In the event the original owner sells the FUSION BOARD we are unable to extend the warranty to the subsequent owners.
Fusion Board is not liable for any injury mishap or loss incurred as the result of use of this product. The user of this product acknowledges and assumes any risks associated with such use and waives any and all claims against Fusion Board, its owners, staff, representatives, agents and assigns.
Users should always make appropriate checks before using the board to confirm that it is safe to use. Equipment appropriate for the conditions and skill level of the user should always be used. Please refer to your user manual for more information.
Warranty Time scales
After 1 month of delivery
For faulty or damaged boards, please take a look at our troubleshooting guides here There may well be a simple fix for your issue.
If you have followed this and definitely need to return your board, please contact us by raising a support request here with as much detail as can about the fault / damage. We recommend using an online parcel delivery company such as Parcel2Go to return it to us. We can provide a returns label, but there would be a charge of £12.95 for this service which will be payable before we issue the label.
Once the board arrives back at our workshop, we will assess it and provide a report detailing what the problem is and whether or not the issue is covered by our warranty.
Once assessed, provided the problem is not due to user damage and is definitely a manufacturing defect (covered by our warranty), we will repair and return to you as quickly as possible without charge. At this point we would also refund the return postage to you.
If the issue is due to user error or has been damaged while in use, we will provide a quote for the repair and return delivery. Once the repair invoice has been paid, we will carry out the repair and return to you within 1 week. At this point, if you do not require repair, you can either collect from our workshop in Cornwall, or pay an additional delivery cost of £12.95 to have us return the board to you in the same condition it arrived with us.
N.B. Once the board has been with the purchaser for more than 1 month (30 days), there is no option for refund or replacement only repair.
After 1 Year of delivery
After owning a Fusion Board for more than one year it is no longer covered by our standard warranty. There are times when we have offered an extended warranty which is clearly stipulated at time of purchase and will be noted on your purchase file with us. We only started offering extended warranties from November 2017 so if you purchased your board prior to this, it will only have the standard 1 year warranty as outlined in our warranty information here.
